Anyone remember Goldeneye for the N64 back in the 90's. Well there is a very high chance that a sequel to the game is coming out next year. An unconfirmed rumor is that it will be called Goldeneye 2010. Quantum of Solace's game counter-part was great so hopefully they will be able to continue the trend.

18 residences were put up for sale at Ian Fleming's personal estate: Goldeneye.  The Goldeneye estate was acquired in 1977 by Island Records’ founder and music mogul Chris Blackwell. He turned it into a hotel which many celebrities favored. These residences are all luxury beach cottages ranging in size from 2,900-3,700 sq. ft. Owners in this exclusive resort have many luxuries such as relaxing spas and restaurant right on the estate. There is also a private beach for all residents of this resort. one-bedroom cottages start from $750,000.

The Bronze Lotus Espirit used in "For Your Eyes Only" was recently sold at an auction in Blenheim Palace, England. This Lotus used in one scene was sold for 105,000 pounds. Also this specific Lotus Espirit was once the personal car of Colin Chapman, the founder of Lotus. Also this was the first Lotus Espirit off the production line.

James Bond star George Lazenby who portrayed bond in only one film: On Her Majesty's Secret Service is seeking $16,133 a month in a spousal agreement with his tennis star ex wife, Pam Shriver. Lazenby has said  the reason is because he doesn't want to explain to their 3 kids why mommy's house is so much bigger then daddy's. Lazenby himself a millionaire still cannot match up to his ex, who is much richer than him

The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has recieved 6 complaints about Quantum of Solace, the 22nd Bond movie. About half of them were about Dame judi Dench's swearing words such as a** and b*****d. 2 were about misinterpretaion of content and the last one was about the violence. this is amazing as there was much more violence than curse words in QOS.

Daniel Craig has signed on for 3 more films after Bond 23. This is a pleasant thing to many of us like me who are Daniel Craig fans. Although after stating he had signed on for 3 more films he said that he didn't want to go in his 50's still as james bond such as Roger Moore had done.

I just brought home a copy of the Quantum of Solace DVD. It is a steal at Borders for $19.99. The Two Disk Deluxe Edition is $34.99 which from my point of view is a rip-off just for a few extra features. the quality of the DVD is as amazing as in theaters. Pick up your copy at any DVD store.

I am starting a new site posting activity called Fact of the month. Every month I will put a fact about something that has to do with James Bond ramdomly. This month's fact is: James Bond has driven only two Lotuses over the years. The first time he used a Lotus is in "The Spy Who Loved Me." The second time he used a Lotus was in "For Your Eyes Only."
